Client Project (Full Branding + Squarespace Website)

The Problem

Classic City needed to launch a cohesive, visually distinct brand targeting modern families and young professionals. They required both a strong visual identity and a fully operational website to communicate their mission and services clearly — all within a consistent style and tone.

They had no pre-existing brand standards and needed everything developed from the ground up.

Project Goals

  • Create a unique, polished brand identity (logo, color palette, typography, imagery)
  • Develop brand standards to maintain consistency across media
  • Design and build a multi-page website (including events, FAQs, contact forms)
  • Ensure the site was easy to navigate and future-proofed for updates

My Approach

🎨 Phase 1: Brand Development

  • Designed full brand assets, including logo systems, background patterns, color palettes, and typography standards.
  • Developed a visual language combining tradition (deep blues, golds) with youthful energy (fresh layouts, community imagery).
Brand kit creation, including logo variations, color palettes, graphic patterns, and image guidelines.

Phase 2: Website Design & Build

  • Planned UX flows for homepage, about, events, FAQs, and contact pages using Figma.
  • Created wireframes and high-fidelity mockups for each core page.
  • Built a fully responsive Squarespace site using custom CSS where needed to extend functionality.
  • Integrated interactive features like event calendars, FAQ toggles, and dynamic CTAs.

Multi-page website wireframes and final builds demonstrating full brand application and UX clarity.

Technical Notes

  • Squarespace 7.1 platform with custom CSS extensions
  • Responsive mobile-first design
  • Full style guide integration for future scalability
  • Accessible design practices (contrast ratios, form usability)
